Our SERVICES

COMMERCIAL LAW & LITIGATION

- Commercial Litigation, Supreme, County, Magistrates and Federal Courts

We have extensive experience in litigation in all State and Federal Courts and represent our clients in all claims, be it for debt claims in the

Magistrates' Court or for large and complicated Supreme Court matters involving misrepresentations, Consumer and Competition Act

2010 legislation, breaches of the Corporations Act 2001 and other contractual breaches.

- Contracts, Leases, Agreements & Others

We shall obtain all the necessary information from you and advise you of the appropriate agreement to suit your needs and situation and draft

it accordingly, tailoring it to your needs. If you are running a business we shall help you to cover all angles of your business from your first joint

venture, partnership or shareholders agreement, your lease, employment agreements with your employees, drafting your terms and

conditions and any other agreement your business requires.

- Debt Collection, Bankruptcy, Liquidation

If you are owed money we can assist you to evaluate your risk and likelihood of recovery and try to reach a resolution without having to issue

proceedings and incur considerable legal costs. If you are faced with the threat of bankruptcy or liquidation we can assist you in resisting this

outcome and trying to reach a resolution which is in the best interest of your business and you personally.

- Construction disputes, Retail Leases Act disputes in VCAT

Whether you are a builder who is faced with a client who refuses to pay and claims for defects or the client who feels that his builder did not

do the work as required, we shall engage the qualified experts we work with to assess your claim and will act for you in VCAT to make sure

you reach the best resolution. If you are the landlord or the tenant faced with a claim for a breach pursuant to the Retail Leases Act we can

help you in the process of trying to settle your claim with the Small Business Commissioner and if it fails to proceed to VCAT.

- Conveyancing, PPSR

If you are buying or selling residential or commercial property or if you need to register a charge at Land Victoria or at the PPSR, we can help

you to secure your rights. We do not provide conveyancing services (we use our agents to do so) but we do represent parties in property law    disputes, especially when it relates to litigation matters.

FAMILY & PERSONAL LAW

(you may wish to read our Editorials for more detail)

- Parenting and Property disputes in Family and Federal Circuit Courts

We specialise in helping you through a divorce/separation that involves the custody of your children or the property division between you and

your partner. We will help protect you and your loved ones every step of the way with the children's best interest always in our mind.

Whatever your personal circumstances are we shall make sure you receive what you are entitled to.

- Consent Orders for Parenting and Property matters

If you and your partner are able to reach an agreement as to either parenting or property matters without the need to start proceedings in

Court you have done the right thing. We always recommend that such agreements be recorded by way of consent orders with the Court for

them to have the legal effect required. We can do this for you.

- Binding Financial agreements, Parenting Plans, Child Support

Whether you are in a married or de-facto relationship or planning to enter into one, a financial agreement is a cheap and easy way to secure      your rights. The only way to secure your right before entering into a relationship, is by way of a pre-nuptial agreement.

Post separation, agreements as to distribution of assets can be finalised by way of consent orders with the Court or by way of a Binding

Financial agreement. We can prepare those for you.

- Wills, Guardianship and Administration, VCAT Applications

Guardianship and Administration matters are always sensitive and involve a lot of emotion between family members. If your parents or other

relatives suffer from a disability, most commonly dementia, and are unable to make reasonable decisions about their welfare and financial

matters, you need to take action before they hurt themselves or are taken advantage of by others. We will discuss the situation with you and

consider all aspects which may be relevant to your loved ones and to you.
